Short and honest

This website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics, no heatmaps, no advertising pixels, and no third-party scripts. Fonts (Geist Sans, Geist Mono) are served from this domain; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any CDN. The only data that arises is technically necessary server logs from the hosting provider and a single preference cookie for the theme choice.

Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the site is requested, technically necessary connection data is recorded in server logs on Cloudflare's edge servers: anonymized or shortened IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status code, transferred byte count, referer, and user-agent. This data is processed to ensure operation, defend against attacks (e.g. DDoS), and analyze errors.

Purpose: Operation and security of the website.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable and secure web presence).
Retention: Cloudflare's standard retention is a few days up to a few weeks at most; we do not access this data ourselves except in case of a specific incident.
International transfer: Cloudflare processes data, among other places, in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; in addition, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) per Art. 46 GDPR are in place.

This website sets exactly one cookie. It is strictly necessary and not subject to consent under §165 (3) of the Austrian TKG 2021 or §25 (2) (2) of the German TTDSG.

You can delete this cookie at any time in your browser settings. The theme choice then resets to "System" on your next visit.

Fonts

The Geist Sans and Geist Mono fonts are served directly from this domain. There is no connection to Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or any other font CDN. When you load this site, no IP address is transmitted to a third party for the purpose of font delivery.

This website links to external resources (e.g. sbmedia.at, bm.sbmedia.at, ec.europa.eu). When you click such a link, your browser transmits your IP address, the timestamp, and possibly the referer to the operator of the target site. We have no influence over the data processing on those third party sites; their respective privacy notices apply there.
